"Like I said, we must ensure that education is accessible from pre-primary up to university level..."
Tate Sam Nujoma (Father Of The Nation)
Acknowledging that the Namibian child, especially the African child, in view of the "African Charter on Rights and Welfare of the Child", has a dire need for both quality and specialised education at all its levels. Hence this voluntary and bold step by Swakopmund Christian Academy to equitably provide access combined with a revolutionary plan to make quality school education open to any learner.
Further acknowledging that the vast majority of Namibian children lives in abject poverty. According to UNICEF "the measurement of poverty (in Namibia) is fraught with methodological challenges", hence the need for social inclusion. Private school education in our region/country is very expensive and in many instances totally exclusive or seclusive. Swakopmund Christian Academy adopted an inclusive education policy with the intention to substantially decrease school fees, making quality education affordable and easily accessible to any learner.
